This past Easter weekend 20 year old race car driver, Jacques Mizzi, competed in the first two rounds of the Renault Clip Cup in the United Kingdom, in Brands Hatch. Jacques is the first Maltese driver to represent our small country in a race of international level, and this is a great honour for him.
It is an equal honour for me to have been the designer appointed to work on the initial mock-ups for the decal work which would later decorate this local champion’s vehicle to compete on an international platform.
A set of 6 designs were initially made, each displaying different major sponsors. The design which is being used for the first rounds of the competition is of “282 Coffee Garden,” a local coffee shop in Valletta, Malta.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my little cousin, Jacques Mizzi, and his crew, for giving me this wonderful opportunity, and also to wish this young driver the best of luck in his journey. He is truly a force to be reckoned with and we, here in Malta, are all very proud of him, no matter the outcome of the championship.

I really needed to get back into my illustration work at the end of last year, and what better way then to give tribute to one of my favourite anime and manga of all time!

Here is a huge fan-art I have been working on with my and Alison’s Original Characters, ViVi and Fable Tails, with another group of My Little Pony OCs.
It also featured the Cutie Art Crusaders, with FlutterGuy’s Caramel in the top picture, PinkieDash’s Electro Shock next to Fable Tails and Brend’s Sunshine Smiles next to Vivi.
I hadn’t yet included RainbowPlasma’s character yet, but would have been added at a later stage,
I had planned on adding other OCs and pets to the picture as well. However, getting to this point had already taken a good 2 days work, and I had to move onto something more productive than OC Fan Art!
I will be working on this piece more at a later on, but for now, a Work In Progress is all I will have to offer!
